A feast or a banquet was an event for the rich people to be entertained. During the feast, musicians would play and provide musical entertainment. After the feast, entertainment might be provided by entertainers such as jesters or fire-eaters. Dancing was an important part of a banquet. It was so important that knights were not only expected to fight, but to also dance.
