This castle was built in the early 1200s. Its area was 7 acres. The walls were high and included seven towers. There was a deep moat on the western side, where there was a drawbridge. It had terrible dungeons, including one which was a room 25 feet square.

BODIAM CASTLE:
Nearly square, with 65-foot circular towers at its corners. Founded by Sir John Dalyngrudge, a soldier in the wars of Edward III. In 1385, he acquired a license to fortify his castle for resistance against enemies. Even though it is decaying and in ruins, it's still considered one of the most beautiful castles in Europe.

It's location is in the Warwick town center. Has over 60 acres of ground. An English fortified town, called a Burh was built in Warwick.
